We’re coming upon the second anniversary of Winter Storm Uri, a wicked weather system that Texans won’t soon forget. The storm pummeled Texas in February 2021 with snow, ice and record low temperatures that dipped well below freezing for consecutive days.

Many who lived through the hellish polar vortex will forever remember it as a chaotic week when Texas froze over and all sorts of problems followed impacting millions of people as well as fish and wildlife populations.
