Ebare seals the deal on first pro level win
Two Douglass High School athletes signed their letter of intent on National Signing Day Wednesday to take their athletic careers to the next level.
GARRISON — Three Garrison High School athletes, all from different sports, gathered with family, friends and other supporters Wednesday afternoon on National Signing Day in the school’s Multipurpose room, but they all have the same goals: Graduate college and excel at the next level.
National Signing Day saw five Nacogdoches High School athletes sign with colleges where they’ll continue their athletic career.
ALTO — The 8th-ranked Douglass Indians kept on track toward a possible District 22-2A championship Tuesday night by going to Alto and rolling up a 60-42 victory to run their league mark to a spotless 8-0. The Indians improved their season mark to 25-3.
Practice is in full swing for Nacogdoches High School’s baseball and softball teams. The Lady Dragons are slated to travel to Hemphill for their first action on Friday, Feb. 10. The Dragons will scrimmage Diboll Saturday at home with the JV slated for 11 a.m. and the varsity at 12:30 p.m.
